I just bought the Vanku 10.1 android 10 unit. I am unable to get any of my Google contacts to download to the stereo
Under "Accounts" I added my google account information
I confirmed that "sync" was turned on for both Gmail and People
I am able to send and receive emails using the Gmail app
I am not able to get and of my contacts to download
I have tried removing the google account and re-adding it with still no contacts
I have cleared the cache and data for the contacts app and google play app.

I believe i found the issue. Under "Accounts", the syncing options are for only "Gmail" and "People". "People" is used for Hangouts, Google +, and Games, not for contacts. There needs to be a "contacts" option under the syncing options for this to happen. An update is needed for the stereo.
